Dallas Gearing is a fourth-generation dairy farmer at Gearing Oakdale Organic Farm and a Sargent First Class with the Wisconsin National Guard who did two tours in Iraq. Like his commitment to his country, he and his family are committed to the environment. The Gearings use rotational grazing, strip crops and cover crops to help maintain and improve soil quality.
